CCF Turkey Toss

November 2021

With $2935 fundraised dollars and $3900 in total funds, Coach Capers’ Team fed 107 families in the Durham community. Of those families, fifteen turkey boxes were donated to families of students that attend three different Durham Public High Schools (DPS). Those schools were Northern High School, Riverside High School, and Durham School of the Arts. On the day of the event, 92 turkey boxes were donated to the Durham community at the Bright Beginnings Daycare. In addition, other necessary items like deep freezers, tables, and coolers were used for the event and then donated to community members. Donated funds also helped feed volunteers, and pay for U-Haul rentals, and custom t-shirts.
